About the event
The Beyond the 200: Teaching Skills Intensive is a 6-week professional training designed for certified yoga teachers who want to grow beyond their 200-hour certification. This program combines intelligent sequencing, clear cueing methodology, and safe hands-on assisting to help teachers build confident, impactful classes.
Over six Sundays, participants learn and practice a complete, well-rounded sequence that can be taught to a wide range of students. Each section of the flow is broken down with alignment, anatomy, regressions and progressions, energetic language, and hands-on assisting options. Teachers rotate through roles—leading, observing, and assisting—to build real teaching experience with live feedback and coaching.
This immersion focuses on professionalism, presence, and communication while maintaining the heart of yoga: intention, breath, and connection. Teachers leave with a full sequence they can use immediately, a repeatable structure for designing future classes, and more confidence in their voice, assisting, and classroom leadership.
